Hello! Happy Thursday!
“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.”
- Eeyore
I have just loved hearing about what you have all been up to the past couple of days. A group video chat sounds like such fun, please continue to use twitter to show me some of the wonderful things you are doing at home with your amazing families. Please find attached instructions for how to tag school so I can see your Tweets.
I have now completed day 2 of my ‘Couch to 5k’. I would be lying if I said that I was finding it easy, but I am enjoying being able to enjoy the lovely countryside views while I jog. I hope you are all managing to get outside and exercise in the sun too.
Please continue to follow our attached timetable. Could you play your own guess the shape activity using objects around the house? As I am sure you are now getting really speedy at completing your Power Maths work independently, please complete 2 pages today. In our usual maths lessons, we aim to complete 3 pages in a session.

I hope you are enjoying your writing activities. I wonder if some of you could make your own invisibility cloak to wear while completing your writing task today. I would love to see some pictures of you and your wonderful writing on Twitter today.
Other fun ideas:
- Use chalk to draw and write outside
- Make your very own hopscotch
- Make your own den and play inside it
- Research jokes with your adults online
- Make your own obstacle course
- Go on a toy scavenger hunt
- Play ball games
Have a wonderful day J
With lots of love from
Miss Gillam
Dear children,
I have a challenge for everyone to do in your house. Can you think of three lovely things to happen each day, then either tell them to someone in your house or write them down? I’m going to do this and hopefully we will all try and find our own sunshine.
Mrs Powell
PS. Wishing one of our lovely Starlings a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love from Miss Gillam, Mrs Southern and ALL of Starlings Class xxx
