Our Christian Values are Hope, Respect, Friendship, Love, Courage, Forgiveness

Safeguarding

Children are at the heart of everything we do and Christ is the light that guides us. John 8:12

"The teachers are very welcoming and accept children for who we are, the three school rules show how important being safe is (ready, respectful and safe).  We have e safety lessons, we see the police in school and we always feel safe.  We hear the alarms being checked and that makes us feel safe."

Nothing is more important to us than the safety and welfare of our pupils. We take rigorous steps to ensure that children stay safe and do not come to any harm. We work closely with families and a range of professional external agencies in order to secure this.

Our Safeguarding Team
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs Powell.
Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) is Mrs Downing.

Other staff who have received Level 3 Safeguarding training are Mrs Rice and Mrs O'Marah.

Stacey Hoskins is our school Pastoral Support and also forms a part of the Safeguarding Team in school. You can find Stacey in school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. She can support families in many different ways - whether it's some friendly, positive advice over the phone, referrals to foodbank or other local agencies or advice on housing, benefits, parenting and money management to name just a few. If you feel like you need a little bit of extra support, please feel free to give Stacey a call at school.

Mr Jon Barker is our Safeguarding Governor.

All staff have training to respond to safeguarding concerns and there are systems in place for us to escalate concerns. Please contact the school and ask to speak with Mrs Powell or a member of the safeguarding team if you have concerns during term time.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child whilst school is closed please call the Integrated Access and Referral Team (iART) or the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) for help and advice.

Telephone: i-ART -  0300 123 7047

The team can be contacted 8.30am to 5pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 4.30pm on Friday.

If you have an urgent concern outside these hours, or over a bank holiday, please call the Emergency Duty Team (out of hours) on 01244 977277.

Alternatively call Cheshire Police: 101 for non-emergencies or 999 in an emergency.
