Applying for a Reception School Place for September 2025

Applications for admission to Reception class are dealt with by Cheshire West and Chester Addmissions team. Please contact the admissions team direct on 0300 123 7039 click here to visit Cheshire West and Chester Admissions Department.

The deadline for submitting your application was 15th January 2025.

Applying for an In-Year Admission

Parents who require an In-Year place should contact the school office first to see if there are spaces in the relevant year group by phoning 01606 668270 or emailing admin@lostockgralam.cheshire.sch.uk

We can arrange an opportunity for you to visit, to meet the headteacher, discuss the curriculum, tour the site and to meet your child’s potential new class.

If you then decide to apply for a place this can be done via Cheshire West and Chester's In-Year transfer application. You can apply for a place twenty school days before the date the place is required.

Once the application is received by school you will hear directly from us with regards to the offer of a place (if one is available) and an agreed start date. At this stage data collection forms will be supplied to obtain information that school needs and also an information booklet which provides lots of helpful information about school.

The school is responsible for all In Year applications and places are determined using the criteria contained within our Admissions policy.
