Friday 3rd April
Date: 3rd Apr 2020 @ 8:49am
Good Morning Robins
Its Friday!! Well done children and well done parents – I am so proud of everything you have achieved this week and you should be too (no matter how big or small).
Like we did last Friday, I would like you to start your day by focussing on positive thoughts. Write down or simply think about 3 things that have made you smile or that you have enjoyed this week. I like to write them down so that when I am feeling a little bit sad or fed up, I can look back at them to put a smile on my face.
As we are approaching Easter, you could take a look at your RE project today and listen to or read the Easter story. There are also some lovely Easter colouring activities in your Home Learning Packs to keep you busy!
For anyone who would like to continue practising some spellings while we are off check out the following website. It has got all of the year 3/4 spelling rules, each with a word list and interactive games to help you learn them. You could even hold your own mini quiz with your adults at home J
As it is the Easter holidays, there is no expectation that the children should be doing any work over the next two weeks. I will however update the blog once each week with ideas on how to keep busy over the holidays for those who want to get involved.
Have a lovely Easter and don’t eat too many Easter eggs!!
Sending lots of love and well wishes,
Miss Beattie and Mrs Esling xx
Message from Mrs Powell:
“You will never have this day again. So make it count”
Good morning children, it may not feel like it but we are all very lucky to have each other. What are you going to do today to make it different from yesterday, we never get today again. What will you do today? How will you use it? Will you draw a picture? Do some PE? Help someone at home? I’m keeping a diary so that I can remember how I made each day count, could you?
Stay safe and remember this: “I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”
