Hello Owls
Date: 22nd Mar 2020 @ 7:37pm
Good morning.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Wasn't the sunshine wonderful. It is great to be able to enjoy the nice weather. Long may it continue.
This has been a very strange and unsettling time for our children and my main focus for this week is for you and the children to have time to adjust to a new routine. Be kind and give yourself time to adjust to a new way of working. I want to reassure you that for our youngest children 'playing is learning' so enjoy the magic, awe and wonder in their play. The real focus for this week is well being, both physical and mental so read stories, play board games and encourage their creativity. There will be plenty of time for phonics, writing and maths in the future. So, for this week I do not want you to worry about the packs that were sent home and instead enjoy spending tme together, readng lots of wonderful stories, playing with their favourite things at home, drawing, buildng models, playing outdoors, making dens etc.
There are ideas in the pack of practical fun ideas to do at home and I have attached a few more nice ideas. At home, we are looking forward to keeping fit with Joe Wicks daily workout at 9am on youtube. Maybe you could try it this morning!!
Please use tapestry to upload anything you are dong with your child.I would love to see all the lovely things that they are up to.
Thank you as always for your continued support and please get in touch on Tapestry if I can do anything else to support. Take care and keep safe.
I will be in touch again tomorrow. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
