I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the snow? I had lots of fun building snowmen and having snowball fights. I’m really looking forward to seeing your happy faces on our Zoom call at 9.20 but I’ll also be available for a ‘chat’ on the Class Discussion page. I am also going to add a ‘Homework’ feature as this means you can upload any work your child does privately and only the teachers can see it and then we can also give you individual feedback on your child’s work. The key thing to note is to use the 'upload your homework' button rather than 'post your reply' as if you 'post your reply' everyone can see this.
For today, please do your home learning on maths, writing, phonics, spellings and a fitness activity. For Worship, watch Mrs Powell’s video and I’ve read you a story for you to listen to today so please enjoy.
Maths
This week, we are starting a new topic all about Shape. We are looking at 3D shapes first before revisiting 2D shapes (don’t worry – there is a method to our madness!) See the PowerPoint attached or follow the link to the YouTube video:
Writing

Reflection: Mrs Powell’s message today was about our Christian Value of RESPECT. Make a hand poem of your own all about respect. Who and what do you want to pray for at the moment? You could draw around your own or an adult’s hand, cut it out and write an idea on each finger like Mrs Powell shared in her worship.
