Monday Morning Hello
Date: 23rd Mar 2020 @ 9:51am
Good Morning Robins,
I hope you have been able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine as much as possible this weekend – I too have spent some time in my garden!
I’m sure it feels a little bit strange not coming into school this morning, as I know it has felt this way for me. I am so proud of every single one of you and I know you are going to surprise me with how amazingly you face this new challenge J Remember:
‘You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.’’ A.A Milne
I want you to enjoy your first week of Home Learning and remember that learning is all around us – Enjoy spending time outdoors where possible, cook, bake, read, play board games, but most importantly… HAVE FUN!
It is so important to stay active (even when stuck indoors)! Why not start each morning with an active PE lesson with Joe Wickes live on YouTube – Just tune into ‘The body Coach TV’ on YouTube at 9am each morning for a fun way to kick-start your day!
Don’t worry about your Home Learning Packs today – but here are a few tasks to ease you into this new style of learning:
- Times Tables Rock Stars – Your login details are stuck inside your new Home Learning books
- Reading – Curl up with your favourite book for 20 minute (Maybe you could build a reading ‘den’ – I used to love doing this when I was younger!!)
- Art – I have saw lots of my neighbours painting pictures of rainbows to put up on their window to make others smile as they walk past. Maybe you could draw a rainbow and put it in your window too?
- Spend some time in the garden – remember to water your courgette seeds and plant your sunflower!
Mrs Esling also says a big hello! We are both missing you all lots!
Remember to stay safe, stay indoors and keep checking Twitter for more updates J
Love, Miss Beattie and Mrs Esling x
