Date: 13th Jan 2021 @ 8:28pm
Thursday 14th January
Good morning Starlings and welcome back to another day of home learning. Mrs. Judge tells me that you have been absolute superstars this week and have been working so hard at home with the help of your grown ups. We are so proud of you!
As usual, we would like you to focus your home learning on maths, phonics and writing today. There is a spelling task at the end of the writing lesson as usual and we have provided you with a link to today’s story too.
Mrs. Esling will be online on the class discussion page today (between normal school hours again) and she is so excited to chat with you and see your wonderful learning on the class discussion page so please share your work. Any problems please either let Mrs. Esling know on the discussion page or email admin@lostockgralam.cheshire.sch.uk and we will do our very best to resolve these straight away. I will be in school all day so will be more than happy to give you a call should you need anything.

Story
In keeping with our Little Red Riding Hood theme, I have read the story ‘Once Upon a Wild Wood’ by Chris Riddell for you today. See if you can spot the similarities and differences between this story and the one we have been reading in our lessons. Can you spot any other fairytale stories in the book? I hope you enjoy.

Worship- Sing and Sign
Hello everybody. Because you did so well with this last term, each week in worship we will learn how to sign a hymn. This term one of our songs is:
“Our God is a Great Big God.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGYVhGWlRhA
Today’s prayer:
Dear God,
"Grant that what we sing with our lips
we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts,
we may practice in our lives."
Amen
Finally, for today's fitness challenge why not have a go at this:
Good luck, enjoy your day, and thank you again for your continued support and hard work.
Mrs. O'Marah, Mrs. Judge, Mrs. Esling and Mrs. Southern.
