STARLINGS CLASS
Hello Starling families and welcome to our weekly blog! We have had another super week of learning in Skylarks Class ?
We continue to be proud of all our Starlings as they continue to try their best and work hard in their lessons
English
In our English lessons next week, we will continue to explore our text ‘Lost and Found’ by Oliver Jeffers. We have already used clues from the text to make predictions about what the story may be about. We have also helped out at the ‘Lost and Found' office where we wrote labels for the missing animals!
Maths
In maths, we will be continuing to compare quantities and measures up to 10. This week we have used our maths resources to support our learning of greater than, less than and equal to. Next week we will be exploring ‘parts’ and ‘wholes.
RWI
The children are enjoying being in their phonics groups. They will continue to bring home new books each Friday which they can keep at home to be returned the following Friday. The children each have a sounds booklet in their book bag. Please practice the sounds that your child has been taught that week to consolidate learning and boost confidence.

Our PE days will be Wednesday and Friday so your child should come to school in their PE kit on these days. Please remember PE kits should either be school kits or plain black/blue. Can we also ask that your child has a drink bottle that is clearly named and contains only water.
