Good morning and welcome back to Swallows class blog,
Swallows have been working so hard once again this week and Miss Gillam is so proud of them all. We wrote exciting recounts of our school trip to Delamere, finished our Multiplication unit in Maths, found out about how the human body changes as it gets older in Science and learnt about the life of Florence Nightingale. - Reading – Can we beat our raffle tickle record this week?
You will find a sticker in your diary explaining which reading books you will be taking home for the last few weeks of term. Please aim for at least 3 reads each week. - Spellings – please continue to learn the Year Two Common Exception words for this week. You will find our ‘Look Cover Write Check’ activity in your child’s diary for this week. Our next quiz will be on Friday 9th July.
Swallows are looking forward to their transition morning with Mrs Rice and Mrs Brennan next week. We will be completing lots of lovely activities and spending time getting to know our new teachers for next year.
PE will be on Friday this week with both Mr Russell and Mr Ault.
