Week beg 14^th February 2022

It has been lovely this week to see Toucans interacting with their buddies. They have been helping them to develop their throwing and catching skills. Mr A has been so impressed that he has asked Year 6 to be involved with a PE session with Owls on Monday 14^th February. Therefore, Toucans can wear their PE kits on Monday and Friday next week.

Homework

Spellings for next week have been taken from a past SATs spelling paper

Spellings will be tested on Friday 18^th February – thumb, trouble, mixture, portable, dough, science, attention, obtained, weightless, council

Curriculum

Maths – Next week we will be working on Measures

History – children will complete an enquiry project in groups to find out about the changes and challenges that happened to lives during WW2

DT – we will be revising structures and electrical circuits – exploring different materials

RE – How Humanists contribute to modern society?

Music - Singing

PE day will be on Monday and Friday (Mr Ault)
