Homework

Continue to just focus on Reading and Spellings alongside Times Tables Rockstars.

Spellings for next week will focus on the sh sound spelt ti or ci  

Spellings will be tested on Friday 28^th May – direction, explanation, competition, especially, appreciate, ancient, cautious, delicious, motion, subtraction

Curriculum

Maths –Algebra

Solving equations, missing box problems

English – Island – A story of the Galapagos by Jason Chin

We will draft and edit a discussion text based on this book and Jemmy Button.

RE – Sikhism

We will continue our study of Sikhism and find out about the 5Ks   

Science – Electricity

Will focus on the components of a circuit and drawing the relevant symbols.

PE day will be on Thursday (Mrs Whittingham) and on Friday (Mr Ault)

Toucans can also attend Mr Ault’s after school club on Fridays.
