Toucans week beg. 25th April

It was lovely to welcome back everyone this week. I hope both children and parents had a restful break. 

We have had a busy first week back getting ready for our SATS which will begin on Monday 9th May. The children have worked hard in our lessons which have focused on Maths and English. This will be the focus again for the next 2 weeks. The children have also enjoyed their cricket lesson and usual PE with Mr Ault. On Wednesday 27th April they will also have an extra PE lesson With Mr Ault,  9 - 10am as well as cricket in the afternoon which I know they will look forward to and enjoy. 

Maths Homework - Area of triangles and parallelograms page 63 and 64

English homework - continue working on CGP Reading and SPAG books, please just complete the sections which you have not done so far

Spellings - The children have been given the list and a practice sheet in their diaries - attention, cereal, affect, physically, fought, definitely, leisure, wary, practice, sensibly, amateur, queue
