Transition day for pupils going to Rudheath Senior Academy on Tuesday 6^th July 9.30 – 2.30

Homework

Continue to just focus on Reading and Spellings alongside Times Tables Rockstars.

Spellings for next few week will focus on the Year 5/6 Statutory Words

Spellings will be tested on Friday 9^th July – variety, accompany, ancient, average, cemetery, conscience, criticise, develop, equip, excellent

Curriculum

Maths –Ratio and Proportion

History

We will continue to find out about the Ancient Mayan Civilisation and complete our Enquiry Project. Children are presenting their final piece as a poster or as a PowerPoint presentation.

RE – Sikhism

We will use I Pads and PicCollage to show everything that we have found out about Sikhism.     

Science – Electricity

We will finish off our work on electricity.

ART/DT – Mayan Masks and Temples to design and build

PE day will be on Thursday (Cricket Coach) and on Friday (Mr Ault)

Toucans can also attend Mr Ault’s after school club on Fridays.
