Homework

Continue to just focus on Reading and Spellings alongside Times Tables Rockstars.

Spellings for next week will focus on the sh sound spelt si or ssi  

Spellings will be tested on Friday 11^th June – expansion, comprehension, tension, permission, admission, profession, possession, revision, collision, decision

Curriculum

Maths –Algebra

Solving equations, missing box problems, writing formula

English – Island – A story of the Galapagos by Jason Chin

We will draft and edit a discussion text based on this book and Jemmy Button.

Geography

We will be learning about Time Zones and finding out about the countries that make up South America.

RE – Sikhism

We will continue our study of Sikhism and find out about the values that Sikhs hold and compare/contrast these to our own.   

Science – Electricity

Will focus on the components of a circuit and drawing the relevant symbols.

PE day will be on Thursday (Cricket Coach) and on Friday (Mr Ault)

Toucans can also attend Mr Ault’s after school club on Fridays.
