Tuesday 14th July Skylarks home learning
Date: 13th Jul 2020 @ 9:15pm
Good morning to you all!
It was lovely to see you all yesterday! You have blown me away this year with your resilience and hard-working nature. I am so grateful for all the gifts and cards you have given me and I cannot wait to open them. I have a little gift for your new classroom too which will be opened by your new class teachers on the last day before Summer. I will also be sending out a little video for you all with a little message for each of you and some photos of the year we have had together.
English
Today, you should begin to write your final letter after drafting down your ideas of what you would like to talk about in your letter and share about yourself. Remember to only share the things that you would like your current or new teacher to know about.
Geography
We would have spent time learning about America in our topic work. Therefore, I thought this would be a nice and interesting lesson for you to complete. It is based on the state of Florida and allows you to learn and discover information about this place. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zyqm8hv

Please click on the following link to carry on listening to some of your teachers and familiar faces reading you the story of ‘The Twits’ by Roald Dahl. The Twits Part 3- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLDe3vLAD80&t=13s
Message from Mrs Powell:
How do we know we are loved?
Penguins are loyal to their partners. Love is loyal. God is loyal and is committed to us. In Hebres 13.5 God says, “never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” This is a way of understanding that we are loved by Him.
Has someone ever said you are “One in a Million? Out of all the 7.3 billion people in the world, there is only one of us. God has made us unique. We are important. We are special, we are loved. Letting other people’s love in our hearts makes our hearts stronger. If we want to live well and if we want to love others it starts with loving ourselves and letting love in.
Take care everyone and stay safe!
