Week beginning 16.3.20

Hi everyone,

As you were made aware, parents evenings were cancelled for this week. If you need to speak with me about anything, please feel free to make me aware of anything before or after school. 

The children have really delved deep this week in writing and have really discussed the meaning of words and phrases in a poem about Malala. The children will begin to develop writing this week and incorporate what they already know and what they are learning in our topic sessions which are based around the adrift project. 

In maths, we are looking at adding and subtracting fractions with the same and different denominators. If any of your children are struggling to complete the homework; please make sure they come to me on a Wednesday lunchtime where children are given the opportunity to complete homework tasks and ask for support.
