Buenas Dias Swallows
I have a little confession! I temporarily lost our story The Enchanted Wood but don't worry, I have found it again. Phew! That's why I haven't read any for a while. It was on William's book shelf, I must have tidied it away without realising, silly me! I will read some more this week. I read a story for Owls class too last week which was lovely.
Has anyone tried any of the maths recipes? Please send me some photos on Twitter of anything that you do or email them into school. I really love seeing what you are getting up to, it makes me smile and so happy to see your faces!
We have got access to some new, great online lessons. I have found this one that I think would be gorgeous for you to have a go at. We would have been looking at the artists Andy Goldsworthy and Richard Long this term, who both use nature and the environment to creat 3D art. This lesson looks at the work of Andy Goldsworthy so this is perfect for us.

I have also found a great lesson on the BBC page based on The Magic Faraway Tree which is the next book in the series from ours. Take a look at this lesson, I think you will be experts!

I will pop these on here each day to give you some new things to look at. Remeber, these are just ideas, you don't have to do everything. I just want you all to be happy and safe at home until we are back together.
A message from Mrs Powell
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go!” – Dr Seuss
What could you read today? It could be singing songs or reading something about a sport you love; things to read are everywhere. Go on - read anything!
Have a fabulous day my lovely Swallows, remember your manners (gracias and de nada)
Love Mrs Rice and Mrs Elson xxxx
