Swallows have had a great week. We have really enjoyed a variety of sporting activities for national fitness week. Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school every day, even after an after school club. The children have been using noun phrases well in thier writing to describe characters from our story Troll Swap. Next week, we will be introducing the < and > signs in Maths (more than and less than) to compare numbers. The children will be exploring the moral issue of bringing artefacts from the Titanic wreck back up to the surface for research purposes. We will explore is this "right"?

Our spellings are: city, cell, icy, cycle, rice, mice, fancy, race, circle, police. We are looking at how 'c' can say 's' it is known as the 'soft c'. 

Please ensure that your child is reading at home three times a week in order for their progress to continue. Our children are working really well with our school rules of "Ready, Respectful and Safe."
